The Village Voice seeks an experienced developer to work with us on a
full-time basis to build and enhance applications for our online classifieds
business. We seek a motivated and creative individual who can take ownership
of key projects and see them through to completion as well as manage the
ongoing operation of our online classifieds products.

Strong and demonstrable skills in PHP, SQL, HTML, Javascript and CSS are
required.

Experience with any or all of the following a big plus: MS-SQL, XML, MS DTS,
Crystal Reports, general networking of PC's & *nix, MS Access.

Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, shell, Python, etc., a
plus.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in online classifieds, job
websites or real estate websites and will have familiarity with the
technical requirements and pitfalls of high traffic websites.
